Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Perimeter of square field = perimeter of triangular park

Therefore cost of ploughing the field is ₹5 per.m ^2

Total cost for ploughing the field is ₹720

Hence area of field is

720/5

144m^2

The side of square is 12 m .

As give both perimeter are equal

Perimeter of square will be 4s that is 48m

So 48m = perimeter of square park

48 = 3s

S = 16m

To find the cost of maintenance of park =

Area × rate per m^2

Area of equilateral triangular park =√3/4×s^2

√3/4×16×16

√3/4×256

√3×64. Taking √3= 1.73

110.72m^2

Cost of maintaining the park

₹10per m^2

10 ×110.72

₹ 1107.2

The cost of maintaining the park is ₹1107.2 .
