a square and rectangle have same perimeter . if the side of the square is 5m and breadth of the rectangle is 4m then find the difference in area of the rectangle and square ​

the side of square is =5m

then perimeter=

4 \times 5 = 20

that is equal to perimeter of rectangle

if the breadth is 4m

the length is equal to

2(4 + x) = 20 \\ x + 4 = 10 \\ x = 6

the area if square is

5 \times 5 = 25

the area of rectangle is

6 \times 4 = 24

the difference is 1m^2
