So surface area of cube of side x is 6x^2
But we are drilling a hole inside cube
The hole drilled is a cuboid with dimensions 4x4x5
Surface area formed inside cube is combination surface area of 4 four faces
parallel to faces of cube
Area of rectangle is length*breadth
which is 20
So four all faces in total is 80
but since a hole is drilled 2 faces have reduction in surface area in cube
So total is
Surface area of cube + surface area of 4 faces parallel to faces of cube - surface area of top and bottom of square
= 6(5)(5) + 4(4)(5) - 2(4)(4) = 198
