In this line" where the mind is without fear and head is held high ", the poet Rabindranath Tagore prays to the Almighty God that his countrymen should not cower in fear and always be free from fear of oppression or forced compulsion. He wishes that all the people in his country has his head held high in dignity ie. self dignity and have a sense of self respect and be fearless.
