area of rectangle= base ×height

=9×4=36sq.units

area of square =area of rectangle

side^2=36

Thus, side=6units

Perimeter of square=4×side

4×6=24 units.

area of square =area of rectangle

then,

side2=36
side =√36=6

now



perimeter of square=4 ×side

=4×6=24

perimeter of square=24
