a square of a side of 6 cm and triangle of 4CM have the same area what is the length of a triangle

a*a= 1/2*b*h
a*a is 36
2h is 36
so h is 18

side of square=6cm
area of square =(side)^2
= 6*6
=36cm^2
area of square =area of triangle=36cm^2
let the 4cm be height of triangle
let the base f the triangle be x
area of triangle =(1/2)*base*height
36=(1/2)* x*4
36*2=4x
72=4x
x=72/4
x=18
length of triangle =18cm
