The area of the square park is 30×30 = 900 sq. m.

Since the path of width 1m is built inside the park, the length of the inner park (remaining) becomes (30-2) = 28m.

The area becomes 28×28 = 784 sq. m.

The rate is 1176÷784 = ₹ 1.5 per sq. m.
