Volume of the cylinder is 6776 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A square sheet of side 44 cm is rolled to form a cylinder

Let r is the radius , h is the height of cylinder

Now side of square = circumference of circle

side= 2 \pi \times r \\\\\Rightarrow 44= 2\times \dfrac{22}{7} \times r\\\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{44\times 7}{2\times 22} =r\\\\\Rightarrow r= 7 cm

Therefore r= 7 cm and h = 44 cm

Volume of cylinder is given by \pi r^{2} h

\therefore \text Volume  = \dfrac{22}{7} \times 7\times 7\times 44= 6776 cm^2

Therefore volume of the cylinder is 6776 cm²
