A square tiles is having side of length 15 cm how many such tiles would be required to cover the floor of bathroom of the side 3 metre

Here is your answer :

Lenght of bathroom floor : 3m = 300 cm

Area of bathroom : 300 × 300 = 900cm^2

Lenght of one tile : 15 cm

Area of 1 tile :15 × 15 = 225 cm ^2

No. of tiles required = Area of bathroom / Area of 1 tile

No. of tiles = 900/225

No. of tiles required = 4
