Competition among workers has both negative and positive results.

  1. Increased productivity. Workers tend to overwork themselves in order to win the others. This works so well especially if the turn around will be good and the quality of the work is not compromised.
  2. Poor team morale. This happens when one wins and is being favored by the bosses. The other tea, members tend to lose morale.
  3. Team incentives. This another win which also pushes workers to even work more and better.

Explanation:

Competition among workers tends to lower the wages. If any one worker demand a higher wage, the employer can remove him and hire another at a low wage.
