A stone is thrown vertically upward with velocity of 40m/s and its came back. Taking G =10m/s. Calculate the maximum height reached by the stone

h = u^2/2g

h = 40*40/2*10

h = 80m

v is equal to 0
u is equal to 40 m per second
g is equal to 10 m per second

v^2 - u ^2 = 2gh
0^2- 40^ 2 = 2× 10 × h
h= 800m
