A stone thrown vertically upward with initial velocity u reaches a height 'h'before coming down.Show that the time taken to go up is same as the time taken to come down.

by the formulla speed=dist By time..so time =speed into dist..as we throw the stone upwards the stone travelled some distance with intial velocity u..when the particle reaches at a height..the stone has to come down with the same distance and the same velocity as it was thrown up...therfore the time taken by the stone to reach at some height is equal to the time taken by the stone to come down
