A stone thrown vertically upwards with initial velocity u reaches a height h before coming down .Show that the time taken to go up is same as the tims taken to come down

when the stone reaches its maximum height, its final velocity will be equal to 0.
as v=u-gt=> 0=u-gt => u=gt
so t=u/g.
when it comes down its initial velocity will be 0.
so its final velocity that was u = 0+gt.
so u = gt
t = u/g
so time to go up = time to come down=u/g.
