The height of the tree is 70 m
Step-by-step explanation:
tan(60°) = Perpendicular/ base
√ 3 = AC / 20
AC = 20 √ 3 --------(1)
sin (30°) = base /. hypotenuse
1 /2 = 20 / AB
AB = 40 -----------(2)
Tree total height =>. AB + AC
=> 40 + 30 /√ 3
=> 40 /√3 + 30 / √ 3
=> 40 + 30 = 70
Thus the height of the tree is 70 m
