It was the first time I was travelling in an aeroplane. I was so excited and looked forward to it eagerly. After the check-in, while we were waiting in the lounge, there was an announcement that the flight was four hours late. I could not come out of the airport and had to spend my time inside. I had finished reading the book I had brought. After doing a little window shopping, I came back to my seat.
Finally, when we got in and the flight took off, my ears started aching because of the altitude pressure change. It was horrible and took about ten minutes to subside. Last but not the least, I had specifically asked for vegetarian food. But, I was brought a chicken sandwich. When I told the air hostess to make a replacement, I was told that they had run short of vegetarian sandwiches.
All in all, nothing seemed to be happening right on my maiden flight. It was then that I decided never to travel by air.
