let the speed of the boat be 'x' kmph. then the speed in downstream will be = (x+4)kmph. the speed in upstream will be=(x-4) kmph. . now we have ,20(x+4)=25(x-4). 20x+80=25x-100 80+100=25x-20x. 180=5x. x=180/5 . x=36
