Before solving this question, it is very important to know that each node present in the twigs gives rise to two leaves which will be arranged one on the each sides.

Mustard twigs : In the question, it is given that in 1 twig 10 nodes are present.

So, number of nodes in 20 mustard twigs = 20 x 10 = 200 nodes.

Each node has 2 leaves.

So, number of leaves 200 nodes will have = 200 x 2 = 400 leaves.

Hence, 400 leaves will be present in 20 mustard twigs.

Guava Twigs :

Total number of twigs = 30

One twig will have = 20 nodes.

No. of nodes in 30 twigs = 30 x 20 = 600

Number of leaves = 600 x 2 = 1200 leaves.

Hence, 1200 leaves are present in 30 twigs of guava.

Calotropis Twigs :

Total number of twigs = 40

One twig has = 10 nodes.

No. of nodes in 40 twigs = 40 x 10 = 400

Number of leaves = 400 x 2 = 800

Hence, 800 leaves are present in 40 calotropis twigs.
