Given - Number of marks student got - 30% out of total number of marks - 150.

10% more marks he would have got = passing marks + 1.5.

Find - Passing marks.

Solution - Number of marks student got = 30/100*150

Number of marks student got = 45.

10% marks of received marks = 10/100*45

Extra marks required = 4.5.

Let X be the passing marks.

Now, 45 + 4.5 = X + 1.5.

X = 45 + 3

X = 48.

Thus, passing marks are = 48.
