per annum amounts to $896 in 2 2/5 years. What will it amount to in 3 years a month at the same rate of interest ?​

Let the principal be x

So atq

X + x*5*12/100*5 = 896₹

X + 12x/100 =896

112x/100=896

X = 896*100/112

X= ₹800

So the principal is ₹800

Now amount in 3 year 9month or 9/4 year at the same rate = ₹800+ 800*5*9/100*4

=₹800+90

=₹890
