If we assume x to be a constant and y as the total amount to be shared between A, B, C, and D, the equation ends up like this -

5x+2x+4x+3x = y

A/Q,

C’s share is 1000 more than D’s share

So, 4x = 1000+3x

x = 1000

Therefore,

B’s share = 2*1000 = 2000

The others’ shares will be

A = 5*1000 = 5000

C = 4*1000 = 4000

D = 3*1000 = 3000
