area of top of the table is 7.8 m²

Top of the table is rectangular in shape where length, 3m and width, 2m 60cm

length = 3m , width = 2m 60 cm = 2m + 0.6m = 2.6m

area of top of the table = area of rectangle

= length × width

= 3m × 2.6 m

= 7.8 m²
