Let Velocity of A and B be a,b
Given, Time taken A to cover 30 km. = 30/a
Given, Time taken by B to cover 30 km. = 30/b
Given, A doubles its pace, So A = 30/2a.
On solving both equations with B by 3/2, we get
30/b - 30/2a = 3/2
10/b - 5/a =1/2
a = 10/3 km/hr
On substituting a value in the above equation, we get
b = 5 km/hr
