Days taken by a to do the work is 3x days

Part of work that a can do in one day is 1/x

Part of work that b can do in one day is 1/3x

(1/x)+(1/3x)=(1/7.5)

(3+1) / 3x = 10/75

4/3x=2/15

3x/4=15/2

x=(15/2)*(4/3)

x=10

A alone can do the work in 3x days = 3*10 =30days
