if teacher make 5 line with in 100 students so five line is complete properly Or 10 line also completed within 50 students properly.

we need to find:-

the least number that must be subtracted from 500 so as to get a perfect square

thus , we subtract 16(remainder ) see the attachment from 500 to get a perfect square .

hence , 16 students will be left out in this arrangement...
