cost of 3 chair=3x

cost of 2 table =2(x+20)

=2x+40

3x+2x+40=340

5x=340-40

5x=300

x=300÷5

x=60

The cost of 3 chair =3x

=3×60=180

Cost of 2 table=2x+40

2×60+40
