Answer: The percentage error would be 2.5%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Actual time interval= 3 minutes and 20 sec= 3+1/3 min= 10/3 min

Measured time interval= 3 minutes and 25 sec= 3+ 5/12 min= 41/12 min

Error in measurement= 41/12-10/3= (123-120)/36=3/36=1/12 min

Percentage error in measurement= error in measurement/actual*100%

= (1/12)/(10/3)*100= 1/40*100=2.5%
