\star{\huge{SOLUTION}}

{Speed={\frac{Distance}{Time}}}

Distance = 100m = 0.1km

Time = 15min = 15/60 = 1/4 = 0.25hr

Using the formula, we get

speed =  \frac{0.1}{0.25}  = 0.4kmph

Tortoise moves a distance of - 100m viz 0.1km

Time take by it - 15 minutes viz 15÷60=0.25hours

so average speed will be-

distance

--------------

time

= 0.1km÷0.25hours=0.4km/hours approximately
