Facts on Muslim League :-

Founded in In 30 December 1906, the All-India Muslim League was founded at Dhaka.

Founders: Khwaja Salimullah, Vikar-ul-Mulk, Syed Amir Ali, Syed Nabiullah.

• In the Meeting of March 1908 , Sir Agha Khan was elected as President and Syed Hasan Bilgrani was elected as a General secretary of Muslim League .

# Aligarh was chosen as the Headquarter but it was later relocated to Lucknow.

# The All-India Muslim League raised the slogan of separate Muslim interests, and demanded special protection for the Muslims in government services.

# Under Lord Minto, a branch of Muslim League was established at London by Amir Ali.

# In 1913 Mohammad Ali Jinnah joins All India Muslim League.

Lahore Session of Muslim League ( 24 March 1940 )

# Passed 'Pakistan Resolution' calling for grouping of geographically contiguous areas where Muslims are in majority(North-West, East) into independent states(autonomous and sovereign)
