a toy is the shape of a cone mounted on a hemisphere if the radius of hemisphere is 4.2cm and total height of toy is 10.2cm find the volume of toy​

Given that,

A toy is in the form of a cone mounted on a hemisphere.

radius of the common base (r)=4.2cm

total height of the toy=10.2cm

height of cone =10.2–4.2

=6cm

volume of cone=1/3πr²h

=1/3×22/7×4.2×4.2×6

=22×0.6×4.2×2

=110.88cm³

volume of hemisphere=2/3πr³

=2/3×22/7×4.2×4.2×4.2

=44×0.2×4.2×4.2

=155.232cm³

total volume of toy=volume of cone +volume of hemisphere

=110.88+155.232

=266.112cm³
