A train 120 m long is going towards north direction at a speed of 8 m/s. A parrot flies at the speed of 4 m/s towards the south direction parallel to the railway track. the time taken by the parrot to cross the train is?


Please give solution with full steps. :)

The distance which bird has to travel to cross the train is equal to the length of trian

Now since the train and parrot are travelling in opposite direction,

therefore the speed will be added up.

Hence, time = 120 m/(8+4)=. 120/12=10
