a train 270m long is running at 80km/hr. how much time it takes to cross a platform 130m long.

80×1000/3600=200/9m/s

time = Distance / speed

400×9/20

2×9= 18 seconds

the length of train in metre

speed=80km/hrs =80×1000/3600 = 200/9

the cross bridge train will cover

=270+130

=400m

let the required time to cross bridge=x sec

distance (in m) =22.2, 400

time of direct variation=1,x

22.2/1 =400/X

X=400=18seconds

therefore the train taken 18 second
