distance=350m
time=28s

speed= 350/28= 25/2

25/2×18/5=45km/h

Singhrajtilak64: But why you are devide 25/2

Answer: The train speed is 45 km/hr.

Given: Length of the train is 350 m which is considered as distance.

The time required by the train to cross the electric pole = 28 seconds

Solution:

By formula, Speed = \frac{\text { Distance }}{\text { Time }}

Speed of the train = \frac{350}{28}  = 12.5 m/sec

To convert m/sec into km/hr multiply by the value \frac{18}{5}=12.5 \times \frac{18}{5} = 45 km/hr

The speed travelled by train is 45 km/hr.
