Here it's given

U=10km/h

V=40km/h

T=1/30 hr

We know, v=u+at

40=10+a.1/30

40=300+a/30

.........

a=900km/h

S=ut+1/2at²

S=10/30+900/2×900

S=1/3+1/2

S=.833(ans)

Converting 2 min to hour

2min= 2/60=1/30 hour

a=v-u/t

a=40-10/(1/30)=900

Using equation

v²-u²=2as

1600-100=2*900*s

1500/1800=5/6=s

5/6km=s

So the distance covered is 5/6 or 0.83km
