A train is moving with a speed of 56km/hr in 4hr. calculate it's distance in m/s.

Answer:

v = 56 km/h

= 56 × (5/18) m/s = 140/9 m/s

t = 4 h

= 4 × 3600s = 14400 s

we know,

Speed, v = s/t

where, s = total distance traveled

t = total time taken

or, s = v × t

= (140/9)m/s × 14400s

= 224000 m (or) 224 km
