- Time taken by train A from delhi to agra = 10 - 6 = 4 hours .
- Time taken by train B from agra to delhi = 11:30 - 8 = 3 : 30 = 3(1/2) = (7/2) hours .
- Distance between Delhi to agra = 200 km .
so,
→ Speed of Train A = D / S = 200 / 4 = 50 km/h .
→ Speed of Train B = D/S = 200 (7/2) = (400/7) km/h .
now,
→ from 6AM to 8AM distance covered by Train A = 50 * 2 = 100 km .
then,
→ Distance left = 200 - 100 = 100 km/h .
and,
→ usual speed of both trains = 50 + (400/7) = (350 + 400)/7 = (750/7) km .
therefore,
→ Time taken by them to cover 100 km = D/S = 100/(750/7) (700/750) hours = (14/15) * 60 = 56 minutes.
Hence, Both trains cross each other at 8 : 56 AM .
