Hey there!

(i)

Speed = 75 km/h

Time = 20 minutes

= 20/60 hours

= 1/3 hours

Distance = ?

Distance = Speed × Time

= 75 × 1/3

= 25 km

(ii)

Speed = 75 km/h

Distance = 250 km

Time = ?

Distance = Speed × Time

= 250/75

= 50/15

= 10/3 hours

= 10/3 × 60 minutes

= 200 minutes

= 3 hours and 20 minutes

Hope it helps! ♡

\huge\tt\underline\purple{Given:-}

  • A train moves at a constant speed of 75 km/hr

\huge\tt\underline\purple{To\:find:-}

  • How far will it travel in 20 minutes ?

\huge\tt\underline\purple{Solution:-}

We know that,

\boxed{\bf{\red{Distance=Time×speed}}}

.°. Distance travelled

= 20 × 75 km/hr

= 1500 km/hr

Hence,the distance covered by the train

is 1500 km/hr..........

We also know that,

\boxed{\bf{\green{Time\:taken=\frac{Distance}{Speed}}}}

.°. Time taken to cover the distance of 250 km is

= 250km÷75km/hr

= 3.33 hr

= 199.8 minutes.

Hence, the time required to cover the distance of 250 km is 199.8 minutes.....
