Answer: 75 m

Explanation:

S = u^2/2a

= 30^2/2×6= 75 m

Explanation:

First we will need to convert everything in to m/s

speed of train

108km/h---->m/s

108*5/18

=16*5

=80m/s

Retardation of train

0.2m/

Time

5min

5*60

300sec

So

u=80m/s

a=-0.2m/

t=300sec

To find s

s=ut+(1/2)at²

s=80*300+(1/2)(-0.2)300²

s=24000-0.1*90000

s=24000-9000

s=15000m

Thank you
