Train is of length 1km and tunnel of 1km.

As the forward part of the train enters and then leave the tunnel ,the back most part of the train enters

Therefore total distance = 2km

Speed = distance /time

Time = 2 /60

= 1/30 hrs

=2mins

Answer:

train's length is 1 km= 1000 m

and tunnel length is 1000 m

so 1000+1000=2000

speed is 60km/h or 3600m/h

so, 2000/3600*18/5= 20/36*18/5= 4/2=2 minutes

so train will take 2minites.
