A train passes through a tunnel 750 m long .The guard finds that he remains in the tunnel for 67.5 seconds .Calculate the speed of train in km/h.(with statements ).

Speed = Distance / Time
= 750 m / (67.5 s)
= 100/9 m/s

To convert speed in m/s to kmph multiply it by 18/5
So,
Speed = [100/9 m/s] × 18/5 = 40 kmph

here distance covered=750/1000 km
time=67.5/3600 hours

then speed=.75/67.5/3600=75×36000/100×675=40km/h
