A train travel a distance 140 km in 2 hrs at uniform speed. Express its speed in km/hrs and m/s.How long will it take to cover a distance of 360 km??

Speed =distance /time
Speed =140/2
Speed =70km/s=70*1000/3600=19.4m/s
140km -------- 2hr
360 km -------
=360*2/140=5.14 hr

Here is ur solution


given \: distance \:  = 140km
time = 2hrs

speed =  \frac{distance}{time}  =  \frac{140}{70}
=70km/hrs

 to \: cover \: 360km
time =  \frac{distance}{speed }  =  \frac{360}{70}
 =  \frac{36}{70 }  = 5  \ \frac{1}{7} hrs
