suggest that the speed of a train is now X km/h

so the train need 360/X hours to travel
.
the train increased its speed to 5kmph more(5+X)

so now the train need 360/X+5 hours to travel

it takes 1 hour less
so

(360/X)-(360/X+5)=1

solving this equation...
X= -45 or 45

but the value of speed is not in minus .

there fore the uniform speed of the train is X so the speed of the train is 45 km/hour.

I hope you understand my solution..

Digvijay12: there mistake in the equation..n= -40 or 45 plz check it
Anonymous: On solving the equation ,we get n=40 or n=-45 ,But since speed can't be negative , we get speed of train = 40Km/h
