A train travels a distance of 1000 km 400 m in 31 hours 30 minutes What is the average speed of the train

first 1km=1000m. so 1000km=1000*1000=1000000m. so distance travelled = 1000000+400=1000400m. 1hour=60mins. 31hrs=31*60=620mins. so time taken=620+30=650mins. S=V/T=1000400/650=1539.07.
