A tree is standing behind a building. 2/5th of the height of the tree can be seen and the rest is hidden by the building. The building is 9 metres high. What ia the height of the tree?

As 2/5 th height of the tree can be seen, that means 3/5 th of tree's height is hidden by the building.
Hence 3/5 th height of the tree is equal to 9 metres
Let the height be X
》 3X/5 = 9
》 X = 9 × 5 / 3

Hence the height of the tree is 15 metres
