 Let \: Height \:of \: Tree = AB

 Shadow \:of \:the \:tree = BC

 Angle\: of \:elevation = \theta

 In \:\triangle ABC, \:angle B = 90\degree

 tan \theta = \frac{AB}{BC}

 \implies AB = BC \times tan \theta

Therefore.,

 \red {Height \:of \: Tree ( AB ) } \green {=  BC \times tan \theta }
