a triangle is inscribed in a circle with shorter sides 6 and 8 units long.if the longer side is a diametre find the length of the diametre

since the longer side is a diameter the angle subtended by it in a semicircle is always 90°.

So now u can use pythagoras theorem to fing longer side i. e diameter.

D^2=6^2 + 8^2
D^2=36+64
D^2=100
D=√100=10 ans
