N-3 has 10 electrons

Given that X+3 has same electrons as N-3, i.e. 10 electrons.

Hence atomic number of X should be 10+3=13

That is ALUMINIUM

==================================

According to my knowledge,

Subtract neutrons(14) from mass number(27) which will give you number of protons(27 – 14 = 13) then as a matter of fact no. of proton will be equal no. of electron(13) and hence equal to atomic number of an atom (not ion) in this case its Aluminium then subtract 3 from no. of electron which will give you Aluminium ion i.e. Al3+ (it can exist only in solutions).
