A trolley , while going Dow. an inclined plane, has an acceleration of 2cm s-². What will be its velocity 3 s after the start ??

Given that a trolley is going down. So the velocity of trolley increases with time.

Acceleration = 2cm/s²= 2*10^-2=0.02 m/s²

Time =3s

Initial velocity =0 m /s

we use v=u+at

v=0+0.02(3)

v=0.06 m/s

The velocity of the trolley after 3s from start is 0.06m/s

Acceleration = a = 2cm/s²= 0.02 m/s²

Time = t = 3 sec

Initial velocity = u = 0 

Equation of motion :-

v = u+at 

v  = 0 + 0.02 × 3

v = 0.06 m/s

The velocity of the trolley after 3 seconds  from start is 0.06 m/s
