Net force = 1200 N - 500 N = 700 N
Acceleration = Net Force / mass
= 700 N / 2800 kg
= 0.25 m/s²
Distance travelled in 10 s
S = ut + 0.5at²
= (15 m/s × 10 s) + (0.5 × 0.25 m/s² × (10 s)²)
= 150 m + 12.5 m
= 162.5 m
∴ Distance travelled by truck in 10 s is 162.5 m
Acceleration = Net Force / mass
= 700 N / 2800 kg
= 0.25 m/s²
Distance travelled in 10 s
S = ut + 0.5at²
= (15 m/s × 10 s) + (0.5 × 0.25 m/s² × (10 s)²)
= 150 m + 12.5 m
= 162.5 m
∴ Distance travelled by truck in 10 s is 162.5 m
