A truck of mass 8 metric tons (1 metric ton = 1000 kg) starts from rest and rolls down a hill with constant acceleration. It travels a distance of 400 m in 20 s. Find its acceleration and the force acting on it.

☺ Hello mate__ ❤

◾◾here is your answer...

u = 0 m/s

t = 20 s

s = 400 m

According to the second equation of motion:

s = ut + 1/2 at^2

400 = 0 + 1/2 × a × (20)^2

a = (400 × 2 )/400 = 2m/s^2

8 metric tons = 8000 kg

Now,

Force = mass × acceleration

⇒ F= 8000 × 2 = 16000 N

I hope, this will help you.

Thank you______❤
