Work done (W) = K.E. gained by the truck = 1/2 m (v22 - v12)

= 1/2 x 1000 kg [722 (km/h)2 - 362 (km/h)2]

= 1/2 x 1000 [202 (m/sec)2 - 102 (m/sec)2]

= 500 x 300 = 1.5 x 105J

Power of the engine P = W/t = 1.5 x 105 J/2 x 60 sec = 1.25 x 10^3 W.

Answer:

hey mate your answer is

Explanation:

m=1000kg

v1=36km/hr=36,5/18=10m/s

v2=72km/hr=72,5/18=20m/s

W=?

so there fore using formula,

here applied kinetic energy formula

K. e=1/2*m/(v^2-u^2)

K. e=1/2*1000/((10)^2-(20)^2)

K. e=500kg/(100-400)m/s^2

K. e=500kg*300m/s^2.

K. e=150000joule.

hope it's a helpful for you.
